“LG Manoj Sinha Leads Dal Lake Cleaning Drive as Part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ Campaign in Srinagar”

01/10/2023 ( JKNN) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha initiated a cleanup of Dal Lake in Srinagar as a significant contribution to the ongoing ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign. This nationwide campaign has also witnessed active participation from top government officials, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, underscoring the importance of cleanliness as a shared responsibility.

The campaign, which began on September 15, 2023, will culminate on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2, 2023, with various cleanliness activities fostering community participation.
