LeT/TRF Module Busted, 2 Militant Associates Arrested in Tutigund Handwara: Police

Srinagar, Nov 30 (GNS): An LeT/TRF module was busted and two militant associates arrested with arms in Handwara on Wednesday, officials said.

“Handwara Police alongwith teams of Army and CRPF busted a militant module of LeT/TRF and recovered arms from Tutigund forest on disclosure of militant associates Parvaiz Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Rustum Dar and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri son of Ghulam Mohammad Shergujri, both residents of Tutigund Handwara”, reads a statement issued to GNS.

“A case vide FIR number 264/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up”, the statement reads adding more arrests and recoveries are expected in the case. (GNS)
