Leopard attack leaves man injured in Bandipora’s Nesbal
*Locals ask for wildlife department’s intervention*
Bandipora, Sep 5 (NVI): A man was injured in a leopard attack in the Nesbal area of Sumbal, Bandipora, on Thursday, officials said.
An official told News Vibes of India (NVI) that the man was injured after being attacked by a leopard in the Nesbal area of Sumbal.
He said the injured person was identified as Abdul Salam Reshi, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, and was immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Sumbal for treatment.
Further details on Reshi’s condition are awaited, and authorities have initiated the investigation, while locals from the area are requesting the wildlife department to respond quickly and capture the animal.—(News Vibes of India)
