Labourer dies, another injured after being hit by vehicle in Anantnag’s Mattan
Srinagar, Sep 22 (NVI): A non-local labourer was killed, and another person was injured after they were hit by a Swift vehicle in Mattan area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Sunday afternoon.
An official told News Vibes of India (NVI) that one labourer from another state was killed, and another was left critically injured after a Swift Desire vehicle, bearing registration no. JK13B 8399, hit and crushed them in Mattan, Anantnag.
He said both victims were immediately shifted to the hospital, where Bhuneshwar Bhulyan of Jharkhand was declared brought dead on arrival, while another person, Mohd Syed Ansari, also a resident of Jharkhand, is currently undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.—(News Vibes of india)
