Kulgam Police carry out intensive checking in Yaripora, Frisal and Behibagh
Kulgam Feb 6, KNT: Kulgam Police on Friday conducted intensive vehicle checking and search operations in Yaripora, Frisal and Behibagh areas of the district as part of heightened security measures.
Police said the operation was carried out on the directions of SSP Kulgam Anayat Ali Choudhary IPS. During the drive, special focus was laid on the verification of out-of-state vehicles and motorcycles, particularly those found without registration number plates or valid documents.
Officials said vehicles were thoroughly checked at multiple points to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to deter any unlawful activity. The checking drive was aimed at strengthening area domination and maintaining public safety.
Kulgam Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and security of the general public. Similar checking and search operations may continue across other parts of the district, police said.
