KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown in Several Areas of Kashmir

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 13 (JKNN) The Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that a scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV Wanpoh SICOP line will be observed, affecting power supply to Veer, Srigufwara, Zirpara, Shamsipora, Bijbehara SICOP areas and adjoining localities from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on January 15, 19 & 21, 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of the 33 kV Lar Tap line will be carried out, impacting electricity supply to Lar, Waliwar, Watlar, Repore and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on January 15 & 19, 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of the 33 kV Preng–Madwan Tap line will be observed, affecting power supply to Preng, Madwan, Banyari and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on January 19, 2026.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to bear with the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
