JK Police Rewards Citizens, Police Personnel for Assistance in Busting of Fraudsters’ Gang in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Mar 1 (KS): Jammu and Kashmir Police in Ganderbal have rewarded the citizens and police personnel for providing help in curbing the social menace by providing timely information about a gang of fraudsters in the district, a spokesman said.

“Ganderbal Police recently busted a Gang of cheaters and fraudsters with the help of Citizens who were cheating the general public on one pretext or other,” said the spokesman in a statement issued to news agency Kashmir Scroll.

“Today Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters through SSP Ganderbal rewarded Citizens & Police Personnel who provided the information and contributed in curbing the social crime, with suitable cash prizes. The general public has widely appreciated this act of JKP,” reads the statement.

“JKP expresses its gratitude & salute to their efforts made in curbing social crimes & menaces, by this action they helped in saving many innocent people to fall prey to huge frauds. Community members & respectable citizens of the society are requested to come forward to eliminate such evils from the society and people are requested to refrain from illegal & unethical activities and inform J&K Police about such crimes in future also,” the statement reads further.
