JK News Nation Report: Power Shutdown Alert for December 28 in Kashmir Areas

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 26: (JKNN) JK News nation has received a report from the Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), regarding a scheduled power shutdown. To facilitate the reconductoring of the Khanyar-Rainawari line from 0.15 ACSR to 0.2 ACSR, the power supply in several areas will be temporarily disrupted.

As per the details, the shutdown of the 33KV Wanganpora Khanyar and Wagangpora Takenwari lines will affect the receiving stations at Khanyar, Rainawari, and Takenwari. Consequently, the following areas will experience a power outage on Thursday, December 28, 2024, between 12:00 Noon and 03:00 PM:

Rozabal

Maqdoom Sb

Hazari Bagh

Jogilankar

JLNM Hospital

Kondalbal

Hassanabad

Palpora

Sangam

Narwara

Residents and institutions in these areas are advised to plan accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the scheduled maintenance work.
