JKAS officer shifted, 3 others assigned additional charge

Srinagar, March 15 (GNS): Government on Friday transferred a JKAS officer and assigned additional charge of posts to three others.

According to an order, a copy of which lies with GNS, Basharat Hussain, JKAS, under orders of transfer as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, in terms of Government Order No. 823-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated 13.03.2024, has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department, with immediate effect.

“Further, Fareed Ahmad Kohli, JKAS, General Manager, DIC, Rajouri, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Rajouri, shall also hold the charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”

As per separate order, Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Mission Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

“The officer shall take over the charge of the post W.e.f. 01.04.2024 upon superannuation of Mr. Ashok Kumar, JKAS.”

Separately, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Agro Industries Development Corporation, shall hold the charge of the post of Director General, Floriculture, Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. “The officer shall take over the charge of the post w.e.f. 01.04.2024 upon superannuation of Mr. Farooq Ahmad Rather, JKAS.” (GNS)
