Omar Abdullah Condemns Killing of Non-Local Labourer
Srinagar, Oct 19 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday condemned the killing of a non-local labourer, whose body was discovered in Shopian district, and called for such attacks to be denounced in the strongest terms.
“Very sorry to hear about the death of Ashok Chouhan at the hands of militants in South Kashmir. These attacks are abhorrent & must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. I send my condolences to the family & loved ones of the deceased,” Abdullah said on X.
On Saturday, the body of a migrant worker from Bihar, with bullet wounds, was found in the Wachi area of Zainapora in South Kashmir’s Shopian district. The labourer, identified as Ashok Chauhan, had been residing in the Sangam area of Anantnag.—(News Vibes of India)
