Srinagar 14 /03/2025 (JKNN) Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s mobile banking application, mPay, encountered a major outage, preventing customers from accessing their accounts and making transactions.
The disruption has caused widespread inconvenience, particularly for those relying on digital banking for daily financial needs.
Many users have raised concerns about recurring technical issues with the bank’s online services.
A businessman from Srinagar expressed frustration, saying, “This is becoming a routine problem, and it’s hurting my business.”
A customer from Hazratbal Srinagar had a similar experience: “I was at a store when my payment failed. It was embarrassing and stressful.”
The frequent outages have sparked questions about J&K Bank’s digital infrastructure and its ability to provide uninterrupted services.
Some customers are considering shifting to other banking services due to repeated disruptions.
One user shared their distress: “I couldn’t purchase essential medicines because my payment didn’t go through. It was frustrating and humiliating.”
This incident highlights the need for J&K Bank to enhance the stability of its mPay service, ensuring seamless digital banking and maintaining customer trust.
