J&K Bank’s mPay Outage Ahead of Eid Leaves Customers Struggling

Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s mobile banking application, mPay, suffered a major outage, preventing customers from accessing their accounts and completing transactions.

The disruption has caused widespread frustration, especially with Eid just around the corner. Many users have complained about repeated technical glitches affecting the bank’s digital services. A businessman from Srinagar voiced his concerns, saying, “This keeps happening, and it’s seriously affecting my business.”

A customer from Jammu shared a similar experience: “I was at a store, and my payment failed. It was frustrating and embarrassing.”

Students and working professionals who rely on mPay have also been affected.

With Eid approaching, customers are particularly disappointed. “Eid is almost here, and people are struggling with this? It’s really unfortunate,” said an angry customer.

The frequent outages have raised serious concerns about J&K Bank’s digital banking system. Many users are questioning the bank’s ability to handle such disruptions. So far, the bank has not issued an official statement on the matter.

Some customers are even considering switching banks due to the ongoing problems. One person shared their distress: “I couldn’t buy essential medicines because the payment failed. It was frustrating and humiliating.”

This incident highlights the urgent need for J&K Bank to improve its mPay service, ensuring a smooth and reliable digital banking experience for its customers.
