Jammu Police Nabs Impostor Posing as ADGP

Jammu, Feb 26 (KS) : The Jammu and Kashmir Police have taken swift action against a person who was impersonating the additional director general of police of Jammu on social media platforms.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that this fraudster had been using the image and credentials of ADGP Jammu zone, Anand Jain to deceive people and extort money from them.

He said the police have initiated legal proceedings against this individual, ensuring justice for the victims and sending a strong message that such fraudulent activities will not be tolerated.

The official said that police also advised social media users to refrain from responding to these fake profiles. (KS)
