Injured Baramulla cop succumbs
Baramula, Nov. 01 (KS): A policeman, who was injured critically in a road accident more than a week ago, succumbed at SKIMS on Wednesday.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a cop identified as Waseem Ahmad Chasti, son of Mohd Ameen Chasti (35) and a resident of the old town of Baramulla, was injured a week ago in South Kashmir’s Qazigund. He succumbed to his injuries after being hospitalized for a week.
In this regard, the police have already registered a case, and further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
