Leopard that killed sheep caught in Pulwama

Srinagar, Mar 01 (KNO): A leopard that had killed at least 16 sheep and injured many in Achagoza area of Pulwama district was caught on Friday.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a leopard last night had attacked a sheep shed and killed at least 16 sheep in Achagoza.

He said that soon after the incident the wildlife department rushed to the spot and after hectic efforts they were finally able to catch the leopard.

He said that this leopard had created fear among the public in the area and now the public have heaved a sigh of relief.

Locals have thanked the wildlife department for the swift action and requested administration to provide compensation to the affected person—(KNO)
