06/04/2024 (JKNN) In an unprecedented incident this morning at Srinagar’s MR Gunj CDM, an honest customer was taken aback when they entered the machine to deposit 5,000 rupees.

Upon inserting their ATM card, the customer was startled to find a substantial amount of money already present in the machine.

Without hesitation, the customer immediately contacted the branch to report the situation.

The negligence displayed by the bank was glaring, as there was no security guard present at the site during this incident. This lapse in security raises concerns about the bank’s responsibility in ensuring the safety and integrity of their machines and highlights the commendable integrity of the customer in the face of such a tempting situation.
