Srinagar 07 March Shaharbeen Times: The streets of Srinagar are bustling with excitement as people from all walks of life, including the elderly, youth, and women, are enthusiastically making their way to Bakshi Stadium to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting today. This marks PM Modi’s first visit to Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to unveil development projects worth more than ₹6,400 crore, aimed at ushering in a new era of progress and prosperity in the region. BJP youth leader Er. Aijaz Hussain expressed optimism about the visit, stating that it would strengthen the party’s presence in Muslim-majority K ashmir, particularly as they eye a Lok Sabha seat in southern Kashmir for the first time.

Senior BJP leader Darakhshan Andrabi stated that an estimated two lakh people are expected to attend the rally, highlighting the overwhelming support for PM Modi and his vision for a better Kashmir.

However, opposition parties, including the National Conference (NC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have expressed skepticism about the visit, stating that they do not anticipate any significant outcomes from the Prime Minister’s visit.

The atmosphere at Bakshi Stadium is charged with anticipation and hope, as the people of Kashmir eagerly await PM Modi’s address and the promise of a brighter future for the valley.
