Shehjaar 2.0: A Grand Celebration of Discipline, Sportsmanship, and Talent at BOMIS Pampore
Pampore, November 07 2024: (JKNN) Birla Open Minds International School Pampore (BOMIS Pampore) hosted its annual Shehjaar 2.0 event, a vibrant display of discipline, sportsmanship, and cultural performances.
The day saw active participation from students and a large audience of parents, who thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle.
The event began with a Guard of Honour presented to Chief Guest B.R. Meena, Commandant of the 110 Battalion CRPF, along with Abdul Aziz Mir, Chairman of BML Welfare Trust, Ghulam Mohammad Lone, Secretary of the Trust and Principal Dr. Mehnaz Rehman.
The Chief Guest unfurled the flag, officially inaugurating the day’s events.
Students impressed the audience with a synchronized March Past followed by various sports events, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Parents cheered from the stands, enjoying their children’s performances throughout the day.
In her address, Principal Dr. Mehnaz Rehman expressed her pride in the students: “Today’s event was a beautiful reflection of our
commitment to holistic education—where discipline, sportsmanship, and creativity thrive together.”
The event was attended by special Guests Jhonson P.J., Principal of GD Goenka Public School Srinagar, and Mr. Rehman Waris from
GQ Public School Kulgam who were present to witness the remarkable displays of talent and teamwork by the students.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing student achievements in both
sports and cultural activities, making Shehjaar 2.0 a resounding success.
