Huge Cache Of Arms, Ammunition Recovered in Kupwara Forest
Kupwara, Apr 12 (KS) : Security forces on Friday claimed to have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition along with some explosive substances from the forest area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that based on specific Information of BSF, about the presence of terrorists in the area of Gangbug Forest Kupwara, he said a joint operation was launched by BSF, Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The officer said that the successful operation led to the recovery of a huge cache of arms, ammunition & other war-like stores.
The official further added that a cordon and search operation in the area is underway. (KS)
