GoI Orders Transfer of Altaf Ahmad Shah (IPS) To Ladakh, Cancels Transfer of Another IPS Officer
Srinagar, Mar 12 (KS): Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Tuesday ordered for transfer of Altaf Ahmad Shah (IPS) to Ladakh with immediate effect.
The order on the other hand cancelled the transfer of Shiv Kumar (IPS) until further orders.
“With the approval of Competent Authority, Sh. Altaf Ahmad Shah, IPS, (AGMUT:2013) is hereby transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Ladakh with immediate effect and until further orders,” reads the order, a copy of which lies with news agency Kashmir Scroll.
“Further, in partial modification of MHA’s Order, dated 29.01.2014, the transfer in respect of Sh. Shiv Kumar, IPS, (AGMUT:2011) is hereby cancelled till further orders,” reads the order further. (KS)
