19/06/2024 (JKNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate International Day of Yoga on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar this Friday.

A multi-layer security arrangement has been put place for the Prime Minister’s visit.
On Tuesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police declared Srinagar a ‘temporary red zone’, prohibiting the use of drones and quadcopters in the city.
The event will be hosted at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, featuring yoga enthusiasts and athletes.
“This year’s International Day of Yoga will be celebrated in Srinagar as scheduled on June 21, 2024,” announced Union Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav at a press conference, confirming Modi’s participation in the festivities.
