Girl kidnapped in Rajouri reunited with family:- Police

Srinagar, Nov 11 (NVI) :- Police in Rajouri has succeeded in reuniting a kidnapped girl with her family thereby working out the case.
An official told NVI that a lady from Buddhkannari village (name withheld) in last week produced a written complaint at police station Darhal mentioning that her minor daughter, name withheld, aged 17 years was kidnapped by unknown person.
On this instant case FIR no. 85/2024 U/S 137(2) BNS was registered and investigation of the said case was taken up, he said.
Soon after this, SDPO Thanamandi, constituted a special team led by SHO PS Darhal to trace the kidnapped Girl, he added.
The team swung into action and with the help of technical and human intelligence, Police conducted many raids at different places and finally after hectic efforts coupled with technical analysis, the kidnapped girl was recovered from Ghura Sankri village of Tehsil Kotranka in Rajouri, he added.
The girl has now been reunited with her family while further investigation and legal proceedings are going on, he added.—(News Vibes of India)
