Fire in Anantnag town damages residential houses, shops, and school
Several residential houses, shops damaged in Anantnag blaze
Srinagar, July 02 (KS):- Several residential houses, shops and school were damaged in a fire in Anantnag town.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that fire broke out at Mehman Mohalla Lalchowk in the night time resulting in the damage to 9 to 10 houses and a middle school of Mehmaan mohalla.
He said that the fire and emergency team reached the spot in time and tried their best to keep the fire in control and a fire man was also injured while performing his duties.
He added that the police reached the spot in time as well and there was no loss of lives.
He said that the cause of fire is being ascertained while further investigation has been taken up.(KS)
