Fire Breaks Out at Hyderpora Chowk, Bakery Building Affected
Srinagar, Jan 11, KNT: A fire broke out at Hyderpora Chowk in Srinagar on Sunday, affecting a double-storeyed bread-making shop, officials said.
According to officials, the blaze erupted in a bakery unit located at the busy Hyderpora Chowk area, prompting an immediate response from Fire and Emergency Services personnel. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot soon after the incident was reported.
Officials said the fire involved a double storeyed structure housing a bread making shop. After timely intervention, the firefighting teams managed to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to adjoining buildings in the congested locality.
No injuries were reported in the incident. However, damage to property was reported, while an assessment of losses was being carried out.
