Fire and Emergency Services Conduct Fire Drill at Birla Open Minds International School
Pampore, August 23, 2024 – The Fire and Emergency Services Department of Jammu & Kashmir, led by Sub Officer Nisar Mohiud Din and his team from the Pampore station, conducted a comprehensive fire drill at Birla Open Minds International School. The event aimed to educate students, teachers, security personnel, and drivers on effective fire control techniques and essential safety precautions.
During the drill, the team from the Fire and Emergency Services Department demonstrated various methods of extinguishing fires and emphasized the importance of swift and coordinated responses during emergencies. The session was interactive, with participants engaging in practical exercises and learning how to handle firefighting equipment.
The drill concluded with a Q&A session, allowing attendees to clarify doubts and gain a deeper understanding of fire safety measures. The school administration expressed gratitude to the Fire and Emergency Services Department for their invaluable contribution to enhancing the safety awareness of the school community.
