Tourist Dies, Another Injured in Sonamarg Road Mishap
Srinagar, May 01 (KS): A female tourist died while another sustained injuries in a road mishap in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday evening.
Reports reaching News Agency Kashmir Scroll stated that an accident took place in the health resort of Sonamarg when a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK01 AT 0637 met with an accident. Reports said in the mishap one female tourist lost her life, while another sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for advanced treatment.
A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to News Agency Kashmir Scroll and identified deceased tourist as Sushila wife of Late Babu Road More Vishwajit Shankar Dhawale of Pune Maharashtra. The officer identified injured as Mehraj Ahmad Ganai son of Mashoq Ahmad Ganai of Haril Handwara. The officer said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. (KS).
