Fake news about Prem sweets being circulated on social media:- Police
Don’t pay heed on rumours
Srinagar, July 14 (KS):- Police on Sunday said that fake news regarding Prem sweets is being circulated on social media while people are requested to avoid paying heed towards rumours.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a fake news/post is being circulated on social media platform that owner of Prem Sweets Kud arrested for mixing Pig Fats in sweets. Police also recovered 40 tins of pig fat so far.
He, however, said that this news is totally fabricated and baseless. “No such raid has been conducted by Udhampur Police nor any complaint has been received.” He said.
“People are requested not to pay heed on rumours. Rumour mongers shall be dealt strictly under law.(KS)
