Exchange Of Fire Between Security Forces And Terrorists In Hiranagar Kathua, Operation Launched

Srinagar, March 23:(GNS) An exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces in Hiranagar area of Kathua district on Sunday.

Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Hiranagar.

As the joint team of forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering some exhange of fire.

A senior police officer also confirmed to GNS about exchange of firing between terrorists and security forces.

As per the sources three to five terrorists are believed to be seen in the area. More details awaited.(GNS)
