Gunfight rages in Sopore

Sopore, Jan 19 (KNO): A gunfight broke out between the security forces and terrorists here in North Kashmir on Sunday, officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)
They said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Gujjar Pati area in Zaloora in Police district Sopore this evening.
“As the joint team of the security forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon it which was retaliated triggering a gunfight.”
As this report was being filed the intermittent exchange of fire was going on—(KNO)
