Elderly Handwara Man Succumbs 3 Days After Injured in Bear Attack

Srinagar, Aug 22 (GNS): A 59-year-old man injured in a bear attack in Drangsoo Mawar area in Handwara has succumbed to his Injuries at SKIMS Soura, officials said.
They told GNS that one Ghulam Mohuidin Malik, son of Ghulam Hassan Malik, was left with critical injuries after attacked by a black bear, while he was working in his orchard last Sunday.
Malik, they said, was evacuated to GMC Handwara from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura for preferential treatment. “He however succumbed to his injuries this morning”, they said.(GNS)
