Eid Prayers Won’t Be Held at Eidgah Srinagar Due to Ongoing Construction: Waqf Board Chairperson

Srinagar, Mar 30 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi has announced that Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will not take place at the historic Eidgah in Srinagar this year due to ongoing construction work.
Dr. Andrabi told news agency JKNS that “Due to ongoing construction work Eid Prayers will not be held at Eidgah”
She assured that alternative arrangements have been made at Hazratbal Shrine and other major shrines and mosques across Jammu and Kashmir.
“The largest congregation will be held at Hazratbal Shrine, where all necessary arrangements have been finalized in coordination with line departments,” she stated. (JKNS)
