Epicentered Near Doda, Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake Shakes Jammu & Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 13 (GNS): A 5.4 magnitude earthquake shook Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon.
The earthquake, as per Meteorological department (MeT), had its epicenter near Doda. Recorded with an intensity of 5.4 on Richter Scale, the earthquake occurred at a depth of mere 6 kilometers, 33.15N, Longitude 75.82E.
There were however no immediate reports of any eventuality in any part of Jammu and Kashmir – when this report was being filed. (GNS)
