Dussehra celebrated with religious fervour in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 24 (KS): Dussehra, the important Hindu festival which signifies the victory of good over evil
celebrated with religious fervor in Srinagar this evening.
According to the news agency Kashmir Scroll, Kashmiri Pandits along with other devotees, burn the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnath at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Sonwar area of Srinagar.
Festive atmosphere was witnessed as fire crackers were bursted and sweets were distributed among participants.
On this occasion as per KS, people from different walks of life thronged Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium to witness the event. (KS)
