DSEK Announces New School Timings for Kashmir Division, Effective August 12

Srinagar, August 10 — (JKNN) The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has introduced new school timings for both Government and Recognized Private Schools across the Kashmir Division. The updated schedule will come into effect from Monday, August 12.
According to the announcement, these changes aim to align the school hours with the seasonal needs and ensure better convenience for students and staff.
According to the official orders in this regard, the timing for school falling within Srinagar Municipal limits will be 9Am to 3Pm while the educational institutes falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province shall remain open from 10Am to 4Pm.
All concerned institutions have been advised to adhere strictly to the new timings, which will be monitored for compliance by the authorities.The move is part of DSEK’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment and streamline school operations across the region.
