DGP RR Swain Reaches Terror Attack Site in Poonch

Poonch, Dec 22 (KS): Director General of Police Rashmi Ranjan Swain has reached the terror attack site in Surankote area of Poonch district, officials said.

The officials informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that the top police officer accompanied by his sub-ordinates reached the site to assess the situation.

The police officer interacted with the security forces overlooking the anti-terror operation in the area and also shared his expertise to neutralize the hiding terrorists at an earliest.

Pertinent to mention here that five soldiers have lost their lives and two others are under treatment after coming under a heavy firing by terrorists along DKG-Buffliaz road in Surankote on Thursday. (KS)
