December 5-14: Special lok adalat in Srinagar to clear pending traffic challans

Srinagar, Dec 06 (JKNS): The District Legal Service Authority Srinagar, in collaboration with J&K Legal Service Authority, Traffic Police, and RTO Kashmir, organizing a Special Lok Adalat from December 5 to 14, 2024. 

“The initiative aims to address pending traffic challans (up to June 31, 2024) through a speedy and hassle-free legal process. The sessions will run 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM until December 13 and from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM on December 14 at the District Court Complex, Moominabad, Srinagar,” reads a public notice, a copy of which lies with the news agency JKNS.

It reads as, drivers are encouraged to appear during these dates to settle fines. Virtual challans cleared during this period will be removed from the official portal.—(JKNS)
