Dead body of mentally unsound man found in Anantnag
Srinagar, Sep 26 (KS): A dead body of an elderly mentally unsound man was found in Mattan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the dead body of an elderly man, aged around 48, was lying at nallah Matioira in the Mattan area of Anantnag.
Soon after informing the police, a team immediately reached the spot and took the body into the police station.
Meanwhile, a police sources told Kashmir Scroll that the deceased has been identified as Fareed Ahmad Parray, son of Abdul Khaliq Parray of Matripora. The officer said a case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up. (KS)
