DC Kishtwar Withholds Salaries of Two Patwaris Over Poor Digitisation Performance
Kishtwar, Jan 15 (KNC): The Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar has ordered the withholding of salaries of two Patwaris for poor performance in the digitisation of Jamabandies, officials said.
According to an official order issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the action has been taken against Nisar Ahmad Beigh, Patwari Halqa Chenger, and Javeed Iqbal, Patwari Halqa Dehrana.
The order states that the decision was taken in view of their unsatisfactory performance in Jamabandi digitisation and to ensure discipline, accountability and effective utilisation of services in public interest.
The salaries of the two officials have been withheld until further orders, the directive reads.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance with the order. (KNC)
