CRPF Personnel Foil Cash Stealing Bid from ATM in Darhal Rajouri

Rajouri, Dec 18 (KS): CRPF personnel foiled a cash stealing bid from an ATM in Darhal area in Rajouri district on intervening Sunday and Monday night.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a local Altaf Hussain, son of Mohammad Sharif Gujjar, was caught red-handed by a CRPF patrolling team, while he made a bid to steal cash from an ATM at Darhal.

“The patrolling team later on handed over the accused to the Police for necessary action”, the official said.

Confirming it, a police official told Kashmir Scroll that a case has been registered against the accused under FIR number 112/2023 under sections 457, 380, 511, 427 IPC for further proceedings. (KS)
