CRPF Constable Allegedly Commits Suicide in Awantipora
Srinagar, Jan 13 (KS): A Central Reserve Police Force constable allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Awantipora area of South kashmir Pulwama district on Saturday evening.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a Constable (Cook) shot self with his service rifle at Grid Station Pampore in Awantipora, resulting in his on the spot death.
“The body of the constable has been taken to Police Hospital Srinagar for medico-legal formalities”, they said adding that proceedings under section 174 Cr.PC have been initiated in the matter.” (KS)
