Cop Shot At By Terrorists in City Suburbs Reacting Well To Treatment At Army’s 92 Base Hospital: Officials

Srinagar, Dec 09 (KS): A cop was hospitalised after being shot at by terrorists in city suburbs on Saturday evening, officials said.
The officials told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that the policeman identified as Hafiz Ahmad Chad son of Ghulam Hassan Chad of Mathiya Bund Hamdania colony Bemina was attacked in his native area, following which he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cop, the official said, was referred from the hospital to army’s 92 Base Hospital for advanced treatment.
The overall condition of the cop, as per hospital officials, is stable and reacting well to treatment – upon filing of this report.
The area of the incident has been cordoned off to nab the assailants. (KS)
