Cop Injured in Road Accident in Anantnag
Srinagar, October 9 (KS): A policeman sustained injuries in a road accident in Khanabal area of South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district on Monday evening.
Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll, the injured cop has been identified as Nisar Ahmad Mir, a 45-year-old resident of Kunan Bandipora. He was hit by a motorcycle while on duty.
The immediate response was to rush him to GMC Anantnag for initial medical care. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently referred to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar for advanced treatment sources added.(KS)
