Congress to Intensify J&K Statehood Demand with 15-Day March
Srinagar, Mar 23, KNT: The Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir has announced plans to intensify its demand for statehood by organizing a march starting March 24, which will continue for 10 to 15 days.
Party President Tariq Hameed Karra clarified that the march is not a protest but a demonstration of their persistent demand to restore J&K’s statehood.
“We will reiterate our statehood demand and remind the Government of India, the Prime Minister, and the Home Minister of their responsibility. The march will be peaceful and held daily,” Karra said. [KNT]
