Soura, 90 Feet Road (Doon Bagh): A persistent water pipe leak near Awanta Bhawan has turned into a major hazard for commuters. Recent CCTV footage shows a scooty skidding on the slippery road caused by the leak, leading to a near-fatal accident.
The continuous leakage has not only damaged the road but also created unsafe conditions for pedestrians and vehicles. Residents report multiple incidents of vehicles losing control, particularly two-wheelers, due to the wet and slippery surface.
Despite several complaints to the Jal Shakti Department, no action has been taken to address the issue. Locals are frustrated by the department’s silence, citing the increasing risk of accidents and inconvenience.
The community urges immediate intervention to repair the damaged pipeline and restore the road’s safety to prevent further mishaps.
