Carpenter dies after his neck mufler stuck in machine in Poonch

Poonch, Feb 13 (KS) : A carpenter died after his neck mufler stuck in a machine in the Mendhar area of Poonch district on Tuesday evening.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a 60-year-old carpenter identified as Mohd Shafiq, son of Lal Din of Chack Banola, was critically injured after his neck mufler stuck in a machine during work; however, he was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Mendhar, where doctors declared him dead.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident.(KS)
