BSF Trooper shoots himself dead in Kupwara

Kupwara, Oct 19 (KS) : A
head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) posted in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, took his own life after receiving news of his wife’s suicide in Rajasthan officials said.

Official sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the trooper, identified as Rajendra Yadav, used his service revolver to shoot himself following the devastating revelation.

They said the trooper’s body is expected to reach his hometown today.

Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this incident. (KS)
