Body of boy drowned in river Jhelum recovered in Baramulla
Srinagar, July 26 (KS):- Body of a boy who drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday has been recovered.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that on Wednesday a boy drowned while taking bath in river Jhelum in old town Baramulla.
He has been identified as Hazim Nasir son of Nisar Ahmad Dar resident of Jalsheeri.
He said that soon after the drowning incident, police and SDRF reached the spot and efforts were taken up to retrieve body.
He said that after strenuous efforts, body was recovered on Friday.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)
