Srinagar, Dec 28 (KS): Prominent Bharatiya Janata Party youth leader Manzoor Bhat has advocated for strict action against ‘inappropriate’ content makers on social media.

Talking to news agency Kashmir Scroll, Bhat said that he has approached Cyber Police Kashmir to take cognisance into the matter as the growing trend is casting a wrong impression on the other youth of the society. “For over a long time now, we are witnessing a steep surge in the ‘inappropriate’ content creation by many social-media users and this trend is quite concerning for every sane and responsible citizen”, Bhat said.

“To take such users to task, I have already moved to Cyber Police Kashmir to take cognisance into the matter and initiate due action against them”, he said.

In his message, Bhat remarked that everyone must be responsible and mindful of the content they share on social media. “Safety and promoting positivity are essential in shaping our society and let’s support each other in spreading kindness and positivity”, he said.

“My request to all social media users is that they should not promote such content”, Bhat said. (KS)
