Bike rider dies in Anantnag road accident

Srinagar, June 10 (KS):- A bike rider lost his life in a road accident in Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place at
Donipora crossing when one tipper B R NO JK01AB_6038 hit one motor cycle resulting in critical injuries to the motorcyclist.
He said that the motorcyclist identified as Shahid Ahmed Rather (19) son of Gh Nabi son of Chowgund Verinag was brought to SDH Bijbehara for initial treatment where he succumbed to injuries.
He added that dead body lying at SDH bijbehara for medico formalities.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
