Baby Born in 108 Ambulance: Medical Team Ensures Safe Delivery

Handwara, Sep 16: A pregnant woman, Zahida Begum, gave birth to a healthy baby girl inside a 108 ambulance while en route to GMC Handwara from Gund Kamal village in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Hospital sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the Emergency Medical Technician, Dawood Ahmad, and the driver Zaffar Hussain responded promptly to a distress call. Dawood Ahmad expertly assisted in the delivery after Zahida's contractions intensified during transport
Both mother and child were reported normal and were transferred to GMC Handwara for further care.
